Single sessions can be life-changing, but clients are still highly encouraged to commit to at least three sessions as the progression through multiple modalities intensifies and reinforces the personal transformation. While you will find amazing results very quickly, you may also find that as you resolve some issues, other issues may then surface. After the initial three sessions, you will have the option to schedule one visit at a time, or take advantage of discounted packages of three, five, or ten sessions. Your hypnotherapist will discuss the options with you considering your needs.
Alfred A. Barrios, PhD published a paper titled “Hypnotherapy: A Reappraisal” in which findings from a study he conducted revealed the following recovery rates achieved through three types of therapy:
• Hypnotherapy. 93% recovery after 6 sessions
• Behavior Therapy. 72% recovery after 22 sessions
• Psychoanalysis. 38% recovery after 600 sessions
While the average presented in Barrios’ study was six sessions for 93% recovery, we have found that most of our clients completely work through an entire issue in less time, approximately three to four sessions. We have found that with at least three sessions we are able to access and resolve the root cause of most issues, which often transforms multiple facets of a client’s life.
Of course, some issues require more sessions than others. In any case, you are welcome to schedule an appointment anytime you have a problem you would like to address.
